Our story
Founded in 1935 by the Sirlin brothers—Morris, Jack, and Louis—Lakeville began as a cabinetry manufacturing company and has since become the most recognized name in kitchen and bath cabinetry on Long Island and throughout the New York metro area. At the heart of Lakeville’s philosophy is a complete dedication to you, our customer.
In 2023, a new chapter in our story opened: Lakeville Kitchen & Bath was acquired by Riverhead Building Supply. This strategic move is designed to enhance our offerings and bring even greater value to you, while maintaining the integrity and excellence for which Lakeville is known.

Rich Coulton
Farmingdale – NY
Rich Coulton is a kitchen and bath designer with over thirteen years of experience in the industry. He is a Long Island native and a graduate of SUNY Oneonta. Richard’s designs have been featured in HOUSE Magazine, Pulse Magazine, as well as on Houzz, Instagram, and more. He brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to all of his projects and loves a good challenge. He lives in Smithtown with his wife, where he enjoys cooking, mountain biking, and working on cars.
Kathleen Fredrich
Farmingdale – NY
Interior design has always been Kathleen’s passion, and kitchens are her specialty. She received a BS in Advertising and Marketing from Marywood College, and continued her education at Parsons School of Design. She has been part of the Lakeville family for over 20 years. For her, the kitchen is the pulse of the home, one of the most exciting rooms to design. She feels very lucky that her career lets her share her love of fashion, art, and design with clients, helping them display their own personal style in a unique yet functional space they can enjoy for years to come.
Catherine Pomata
Farmingdale – NY
Catherine began pursuing her passion for design at NYIT, studying Interior Design, and has worked in the home remodeling industry for over 30 years. She has been part of the Lakeville team since 1999, where she works closely with clients and contractors to not only meet, but exceed their expectations. Unmatched quality and personalization are her hallmark in her incredible kitchen and bath designs. Catherine brings her professionalism and experience through to each and every new design.
Darren Press
Farmingdale – NY
With more than 23 years at Lakeville and over 38 years in the kitchen and bath industry, Darren brings a wealth of experience and a lifelong passion for design. His career began in his family’s kitchen, bath, and plumbing supply business, where he developed both technical expertise and an eye for detail. Inspired by a love of architecture, Darren thrives on transforming an architect’s plans or a customer’s ideas into designs where beauty and function work seamlessly together. When not busy designing, Darren enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Knicks, Yankees, and Giants, fine-tuning his fantasy football teams, relaxing at the beach, and traveling.
Debbie Prezzano
Farmingdale – NY
With over 16 years in the cabinetry industry – Debbie is a seasoned interior designer known for her creativity, precision, and expertise. Trained through the NKBA, she has a sharp eye for flow, symmetry, and functionality, crafting spaces that feel both cohesive and customized. Known for her patience and collaborative spirit, she thrives on turning client visions into timeless, inspiring designs.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys time with her large family. She loves quiet moments with a good book by the ocean and any chance to be outdoors. Her favorite quote is: “What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing. It also depends on what sort of person you are.” – C.S. Lewis, The Magician’s Nephew
Joseph Reategui
Farmingdale – NY
Joseph landed his first job in the industry nearly 20 years ago after studying at Kinsgborough Community College and York College. He began by designing custom kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms, by hand with isometric drawings for his clients. As technology advanced, he became proficient with the 20/20 design software. Joseph’s ideas and innovations will exceed your expectations. He will incorporate features that are important to you and your design while personally guiding you with his experience and vision. During his free time, Joseph enjoys spending time with his rescue dog, Jack, as well as playing classical piano on one of his prized possessions, a baby grand piano autographed by Billy Joel and Elton John.
Danny Weisz
Farmingdale – NY
Dan Weisz has over thirty years of experience in the kitchen industry, starting with his family’s cabinet manufacturing business in New Jersey. Dan utilizes his knowledge and complete understanding of the industry, from sales to manufacturing, to create a kitchen as pleasing in form and design as it is in function. His unique skills also include a proficiency in kosher kitchen design. Dan and his wife live in Huntington with their three sons. When he is not working, Dan enjoys music, theater, and quality time with his family.
Michelle Gannon
Farmingdale – NY
With over 20 years in the construction industry, Michelle brings a well-rounded background in estimating, project management, and kitchen design, rooted in her family’s general contracting business. She believes clear, honest communication is key—informing clients without overwhelming them. Her award-winning designs have earned national recognition, including a House Magazine cover feature. Always eager to learn, Michelle values opportunities like factory tours and manufacturer classes that keep her growing in her field.
